Our Story Begins With Nina
Nina Sekhand is a classically trained ballerina and nanotechnology engineer whose career bridges elite performance, academic excellence, and a passion for child development. After training at Russia’s most prestigious institutions and performing internationally, she founded the Center for Performing Arts and Dance (CPAD NYC) in 2021 to reimagine arts education. CPAD NYC offers a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment where children explore creativity, movement, and self-expression through dance, theater, music, and more. Blending classical technique with insights from neuroscience and psychology, Nina’s mission is to nurture confident, curious, and well-rounded young individuals.
